Understanding credit scores, checking credit reports, creating budgets — these are all important financial skills for a person at any age to have. It’s very important for those just getting started as adults to develop healthy habits when it comes to money, but often younger adults aren’t sure where to start or how to avoid falling into the common traps that could spell financial disaster for them. We wanted to find out just what millennials know about their credit and what kind of personal finance habits they have. Does the typical twenty-something have goals to build their credit?

To learn more about millennials and money, we surveyed more than 500 men and women between the ages of 18 and 29. Our first infographic revealed how millennials view credit cards and our infographic below sheds some light on what millennials know about their finances.
