Bottom Line:
18-month 0% intro APR on both purchases and balance transfers

Full Review:
The HSBC Gold Mastercard® credit card is nice choice for anyone looking for a card that offers a 0% intro APR on both balance transfers and purchases. As an added bonus, it's available to those with just good credit, usually considered a credit score of 700 or higher.

Users can take advantage of an 18-month 0% intro APR on balance transfers, enabling them to move balances over from other high-interest cards and enjoy a year and a half of paying absolutely no interest. There is a 4% balance transfer fee, which is a little higher than typical, but it could still save you a lot of money. To find out for sure, check out our Balance Transfer Calculator which will estimate the total interest and fees you'll pay, as well as how long it will take to pay off your balance. Or if you're interested in a similar card with a slightly lower balance transfer fee, take a look at the Citi Simplicity Card which has a 21-month 0% intro APR and no annual fee.

The HSBC Gold Mastercard® credit card also offers an 18-month 0% intro APR for purchases, enabling you to make purchases for the first year and a half and pay $0 in interest fees. You can even think of the 0% intro APR period as an interest-free loan on any large or small purchases you need to (or want to) make, just make sure you pay them off before the 0% intro APR period expires.

Other card perks include no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees. There's also purchase protection, which protects most card purchases of up to $1,000 against theft or accidental damage for 90 days; extended warranty, which doubles your original warranty for up to one year; and price protection, which can refund the difference if you buy something and then see it advertised for less within 60 days.

Overall, the HSBC Gold Mastercard® credit card is best for those looking for a card with no annual fee and a lengthy 0% intro APR on balance transfers and purchases.
