Marriott Rewards® Premier Plus Credit Card Review

Our Detailed Review of This Card

The Marriott Rewards® Premier Plus Credit Card is a strong card for those interested in earning free stays at Mariott and SPG brand hotels or resorts (including the Ritz Carlton).

Cardholders will enjoy an 75,000 point bonus after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months, a free night stay on their account anniversary and no foreign transaction fees. They'll also earn 6 points for each $1 they spend at participating Marriott and SPG hotels, and 1 point per $1 spent on everything else. You can redeem your earned points for free nights at Marriot and SPG hotels, flights, car rentals or merchandise.

With a low hotel redemption value of $0.59 for every $100 spent (See our Travel Rewards Credit Card Analysis for the full details), the Marriott Rewards® Premier Plus Credit Card is a decent choice — especially if you stay at Marriott and SPG hotels often enough to take advantage of the 5 points per $1 earnings .
