To top it off, new cardholders earn 70,000 bonus miles after spending $5,000 in the first 90 days of card membership, which is equal to a huge $700 in travel! And as one of the top-ranked cards in our Travel Rewards Credit Card Analysis, it gives you more bang for your buck. It placed very well in the Best Average Flight & Hotel Rewards category with a high hotel and flight point value of $2.10 for every $100 you spend.

Cardholders will earn 2 miles per dollar spent on all purchases, a step above many travel cards who only offer extra mile earnings for purchases in specific categories. And the miles are easy to use too; just book your travel and then redeem your miles for a statement credit.

Cardholders can use their miles to travel on any airline to any destination without seat restrictions or travel blackout dates. Plus, when you redeem your miles you'll get 5% of these miles back, which is equivalent to a 5% bonus. For example, redeeming 10,000 miles will get you 500 miles deposited into your Rewards bank. This is a significant perk, making it easy to save even more money enjoy extra rewards toward future purchases.

In addition, cardholders will enjoy 70,000 bonus miles after spending $5,000 in the first 90 days of card membership, equal to a whopping $700 (or $735 once you redeem it) — and they can opt-in to receive free FICO® Scores. Another feature users will appreciate is that they won't have to pay foreign transaction fees when traveling outside the U.S. These fees can add up quickly, so not having to pay any is a definite money-saver. There is an $89 annual fee for the card, but that is waived for the first year.

The Barclaycard Arrival Plus® World Elite Mastercard® also features a 12-month 0% intro APR on balance transfers made in the first 45 day of account opening, which is something most other travel credit cards don't offer. The 0% intro APR opportunity can be a convenient way to save money on interest fees by transferring balance over from other high-APR cards. There is a 3% balance transfer fee (min $5), but this could be more than worth it, depending on the interest rates you're currently paying and how much you're transferring over.

Overall, the Barclaycard Arrival Plus® World Elite Mastercard® is a terrific choice for anyone in the market for a travel card with very flexible redemption options, no foreign transaction fees, and a large intro bonus ($735 in travel!).
