For businesses that frequently fly with Alaska Airlines, the Alaska Airlines Visa® Business credit card is a good choice.

To start, the Alaska Airlines Visa® Business credit card has an exciting introductory offer that is available for a limited time only. After spending $1,000 on purchases in the first 90 days of account opening, you'll earn 30,000 bonus miles and a Companion Fare ticket — when you buy one ticket, you'll get another for the cost of taxes and fees ($0 fare plus taxes and fees, starting at just $22). The best part is there are no blackout dates, so you can use that ticket at any time when you book through Alaska Air.

As a nice ongoing reward, you'll continue to get one Companion Fare™ ticket each year on your account anniversary for $99 plus taxes and fees (from $121, $99 plus taxes and fees from $22). You'll also receive one free checked bag for you and up to 6 other companions on the same reservation. That can save a hefty sum! In addition to that, flying with Alaska Airlines can build up miles quickly, as you'll earn an unlimited 3 miles for every $1 spent directly on Alaska Airlines purchases and 1 mile for every $1 spent on all other purchases. You can redeem Alaska Mileage Plan miles to over 900 destinations around the world on Alaska Airlines and through their global airline partners

The Alaska Airlines Visa® Business credit card also makes it easy and secure to manage your expenses. You can manage your business with a suite of online services that includes automatic payments, transfers and the ability to download your transaction into QuickBooks. Plus, you'll be able log in anytime, anywhere with 24/7 secure Online and Mobile Banking to keep tabs on account activity for you and your employees.

But you won't be alone in protecting your account, the Alaska Airlines Visa® Business credit card includes automatic ongoing fraud detection that will notify you in the event of suspicious activity. And, if there is unauthorized activity, you will have no liability for the purchases. Keep in mind that unauthorized activity doesn't cover unapproved employee activity if that employee is an authorized user; however, the Alaska Airlines Visa® Business credit card features additional protection for misuse by terminated employees and for most purchases against loss, damage, theft, or fire. This all comes for an annual fee of $50 for the company and $25 per card. That's a fairly low annual fee, but there are cards with lower (or $0) annual fees and the cost per card could add up if you need a lot of employees to have cards.

For those who frequently travel with Alaska Airlines, the high intro bonus, companion fare tickets, rewards miles and security features make the Alaska Airlines Visa® Business credit card an excellent choice. If Alaska Airlines isn't an airline you use often, you may prefer to consider the Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card for its straightforward point earnings (1.5 miles per dollar on all purchases and 3 miles per dollar spent via the Bank of America Travel Center) and nice 0% introductory purchase APR period.
