Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® credit card Review

Our Detailed Review of This Card

The Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® credit card is a good choice if you like to fly Alaska Airlines and Virgin America and want to redeem your miles for flights on Alaska Airlines, Virgin America, and their partner airlines. It did very well in flight value in our Travel Rewards Credit Card Analysis with a generous $1.83 per $100 spent. You'll earn 3 miles for each $1 spent on Alaska Airlines and Virgin Airlines, and 1 mile per $1 on all other purchases. There is also a 30,000 mile bonus after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days of card ownership.

Other card perks include an annual companion ticket worth $121 after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days, free checked bags for you and up to 6 companions and no foreign transaction fees. Cardholders whose accounts are open and in good standing on their annual account anniversary date will receive a companion ticket after their anniversary date each year, a pretty nice ongoing benefit. However, the card does have a $75 annual fee to consider.
