Full Review:
The Plum Card® from American Express OPEN (a NextAdvisor advertiser) is a business charge card that combines no preset spending limits with a discount on your balance if you pay early.

First off, early-bird Cardholders will also receive a 1.5% discount on the portion of their balance that is paid within 10 days of your statement closing date (must be at least minimum payment). That means if you pay your bill early you will get 1.5% off your purchases - a great deal, and a little like getting cash back that's applied towards your existing balance. Plus, you'll enjoy no interest fees, because this is charge card which means your balance is paid each month in full. The card does have an annual fee of $250, but it's waived the first year.

You'll also get American Express benefits like purchase protection, extended warranty, car rental insurance, roadside assistance and travel accident insurance. All this and you get free employee cards to help earn more rewards, and no foreign transaction fees so you'll save money on purchases outside the US. Additionally, you can choose your own billing cycle in order to synch up your payment due date with your business cash flow.

Overall, The Plum Card® from American Express OPEN is a good fit for those who want a business charge card that allows them to save 1.5% each month. The annual fee is a little pricey, but it is waived the first year and it could be more than worth it depending upon your business.
