The 0% intro APR for 15 months on purchases and balance transfers gives you plenty of breathing room for your purchases and time to pay down any high balances you’re carrying on other cards, which can be a huge money saver. You’ll want to know that there’s a balance transfer fee equal to 3% of the amount transferred associated with this card, but that’s standard for low APR cards. Additionally, the Capital One Quicksilver Card – 0% Intro APR for 15 Months requires good to excellent credit for approval (usually considered a credit score of 700 or higher).

Like Capital One Savor, the cash back you earn with the Capital One Quicksilver Card – 0% Intro APR for 15 Months can be redeemed for at any time in the form of a check, statement credit or gift card. This card is available to those with average, good or excellent credit (scores of 670 or higher) and earns 5% cash back in rotating categories each quarter you activate up to the quarterly maximum, currently $1,500/quarter, in combined purchases (including groceries until June 30, 2018 and restaurants from July 1 through Sept. 30, 2018) as well as 1% cash back on everything else. Plus, you’ll get 14 months of 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers (with a 3% balance transfer fee) – after the 0% intro APR expires, the standard go-to rate applies, pay no foreign transaction fees or annual fee and have access to a whole host of benefits like shopping discounts and social security number protection. You will need to sign up every quarter to earn the 5% cash back, but Discover makes it easy with helpful reminders.
