[Editor's Note: From now through May 31, 2016, U.S. Customers who sign up for 2 or more lines with RingCentral Office® will earn a $50 Amazon gift card per line.* Click the "Sign Up" link above to take advantage of this offer.]

RingCentral offers an excellent balance of price and features. The cost per line is as low as $24.99 per month, based on a 20-extension plan. Included in that cost is unlimited calling in the U.S. and Canada and the choice of a local or toll-free number (with 1,000 free toll-free minutes per month), as well as the usual host of features such as Internet fax, call forwarding, cloud-based PBX, and auto attendant. Auto attendant gives you the ability to set up an automated answering service with an extension menu, so customers can call one number and have their calls routed to the person or department they need. All these features come at no additional cost, and there's no setup or activation fee to worry about either.

RingCentral offers a 30-day free trial, and all its plans come without a contract, so there's no penalty for canceling. Chat-based support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7 customer phone support is only available for Office customers with 2 or more users).

VoIP requires specialized phones that can connect to the Internet. RingCentral offers a number of options, starting at $99. Of course, you don't have to buy your phones from RingCentral; you can even use your existing office telephones, but you'll need to purchase VoIP adapters.

RingCentral's pricing and features make it an attractive option for small businesses, particularly those needing 50 or more lines. We've reviewed other services offered by RingCentral, including their Internet fax and virtual phone products, and have always found its offerings robust and full of options.

*To qualify for the Amazon gift card(s), all orders must be placed with a RingCentral Account Manager. The offer is only valid for new US customers. A minimum of 2 lines must be purchased and the gift card value cannot exceed USD $599. Accounts must be under contract for at least 90 days to qualify for the gift card(s). Offer is only valid between March 1, 2016 and May 31, 2016. Per the IRS, gift cards are considered to be a "cash equivalent" and gift card recipients may be responsible for taxes on gift card values over USD $600.
