Bottom Line:
Unique technology degree programs, good post-graduate employment rate, but focus is more on onsite school
Full Review:
DeVry University offers a wide range of degree programs, but it is particularly well known for its innovative IT-related fields. However, while some universities' curricula are designed specifically for the online experience, DeVry's brick-and-mortar campus seems to be the main focus.

Best for: Post-graduate employment
According to DeVry's website, 90.1% of the more than 250,000 students who have graduated from DeVry since 1975 held career-related positions within six months of graduation. Also, DeVry's national job lead database allows students and alumni to connect virtually with potential employers and view job openings.

Degrees: Certificates; associate's; bachelor's; master's, MBA

Programs: Business and management, engineering and information sciences, health sciences, liberal arts and sciences, media arts and technology Undergrad cost: $740 per credit

Graduate cost: $740 per credit

Post-Graduation Employment:
Again, the majority of DeVry's graduates almost immediately land jobs in their chosen professions, probably thanks in part to HireDeVry, its national job lead database. Students can also access an online resume builder among other job search tools.

Financial Aid:
Aside from offering the standard military tuition assistance, DeVry works directly with hundreds of lenders and offers more than $29 million in scholarships to students in the U.S. and Canada each year.

Resources:

DeVry's focus on real-world simulations and hands-on projects rather than theory lends itself better to onsite learning. The school still offers the same library, materials, and learning objectives as onsite. Its student center, the Hub, is where you can connect with your teachers and other students.

Faculty:

All of DeVry's professors have degrees (bachelor's or higher) in their fields as well as career experience, and you can verify that in the detailed faculty profiles online. Many of the online professors also teach onsite, but DeVry has fewer online faculty members overall than a school like AIU.

Value:
Although each credit hour is the same price, no matter what degree you're earning, $740 for an undergrad hour is much steeper than other schools, and it's on the high end for advanced degrees as well.
