Does BankAmericard Cash Rewards consider Target and/or Walmart a grocery store? I do my grocery shopping at these places mostly.

Good news - per the Bank of America representative we spoke with, both Walmart AND Target grocery item purchases will earn 2% cash back. That means when you use the BankAmericard Cash Rewards credit card at Walmart and/or Target, your grocery purchases will qualify for the 2% cashback rewards. Non-grocery purchase made at these stores will not qualify and instead will earn 1% cashback rewards.

If you're interested in the details, every item you pay for items with your BankAmericard Cash Rewards credit card they are labeled with a code. If the code is considered to be a "grocery store" item, you'll get 2% cash back. If it isn't, you won't. For example, if you pay a total of $300 at Target, but only $100 of that is for groceries, you will receive 2% on the $100 you spent on groceries. You will get 1% cash back on the other $200.
