EQUIFAX WITH SCORE POWER REVIEW:Go to Site | Back to Top
Equifax Credit Watch Gold 3-in-1 Monitoring Plus Score Power is our top choice to get your free credit reports. Not only does it give you all 3 of your credit reports for free, but it also gives you your free Equifax FICO score and a free 30-day trial of 3-bureau credit monitoring. Buying all of these separately would cost $55 but you can get them for free through this offer. We highly recommend that you get all 3 of your credit reports since they are all different. Any one of them can have different information and a lender may look at any one of them or all three. We also recommend getting your FICO score because it is the score most lenders use to decide if they are going to extend you credit and what rate they will give you. Equifax actually gives you an entire FICO Score Power report which not only includes your FICO score but also a FICO Score Simulator that estimates what your score would be if you took certain actions, as well as a full explanation of factors affecting your credit score. On top of all that, Equifax w/ Score Power also is giving NextAdvisor.com visitors a free 30-day trial to their 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring service. 3-bureau monitoring is the best kind because sometimes lenders will only report a credit event to one of the bureaus. The monitoring service will send you an email alert whenever any one of your three credit reports change or if a lender makes an inquiry to any of the credit bureaus. If you decide you don't want this monitoring service, just cancel before the 30-day trial ends and you will have paid nothing for your free credit reports, FICO score and credit monitoring trial. If you want to keep this valuable monitoring service, do nothing and you will be charged $14.95 per month. Either way, you get a whole lot of value for little or no cost.

FREECREDITREPORT.COM REVIEW:Go to Site | Back to Top
It's hard to argue with the name - FreeCreditReport.com is a good place to get a free credit report and your free credit score, too. You've probably seen the commercials or heard the jingles - FreeCreditReport.com does a lot of advertising and has beome the most popular way to get your free credit report and score. A subsidiary of Experian, they are marketed heavily online as well as offline with both television and radio ads. As the name implies, you can get a free Experian credit report, plus a free Experian credit score as well as a 30-day trial to their excellent 3-bureau credit monitoring service, Triple Advantage. The main downside is you don't get your report or score from either of the other 2 bureaus. Plus, the credit score is based on the Experian scoring system rather than the FICO system that more lenders use, but the scores typically end up being about the same. Their credit monitoring service, Triple Advantage, monitors all 3 bureaus and for the price, $12 per month, this is the best 3-bureau monitoring solution you will find. Should you discover an identity theft problem, Triple Advantage has a nice added feature in that they assign a fraud resolution specialist to your account to help you fix the problem. If you decide to keep the monitoring service after the free trial, you also get unlimited Experian credit scores and reports as long as you have the service, which would otherwise cost you $15 to buy every time you wanted them. If you don't want to keep it, just cancel before the 30-day trial is up and you will have received an Experian credit report, credit score and 30 days of 3-bureau credit monitoring for free.
CREDITCHECK TOTAL REVIEW:Go to Site | Back to Top
CreditCheck Total gives you the most free data of any service in an easy to use package, making it a top choice for getting your free credit reports and scores. CreditCheck Total gives you all 3 of your credit reports and all 3 of your credit scores for free. This is part of the free 7-day trial they offer that also includes 7 free days of 3-bureau credit monitoring. Just to buy the reports and scores that you get for free in the trial would cost over $50 so this is a fantastic deal. If you keep the service after the free trial, you pay just $19.95 per month for unlimited credit scores and reports plus daily 3-bureau credit monitoring and other extras such as a fraud resolution specialist assigned to you if you ever are the victim of identity theft and $25,000 in ID Theft insurance. MYFICO REVIEW:Go to Site | Back to Top
As you might guess by the name, myFICO is a great way to get information on your FICO score, but it's got a lot of other benefits, too. myFICO gives you a free Equifax credit report, a free Equifax FICO score (they actually give you an entire FICO Score Power report which not only includes your FICO score but also a FICO Score Simulator that estimates what your score would be if you took certain actions, as well as a full explanation of factors affecting your credit score - your FICO score is the score most lenders use to decide if they are going to extend you credit and what rate they will give you), and a free 30 day trial of their Score Watch service that monitors any changes to both your Equifax credit report and your Equifax FICO score. Compared to other services offering a free credit report myFICO is a little lacking because they only give you your Equifax credit report for free, not your report from all 3 bureaus like our highest-rated services do. In fact, if you are just interested in your free credit reports and scores, the Equifax w/ Score Watch service also gives you your free FICO score and Score Power report but gives you all 3 credit reports for free rather than just the free Equifax report like myFICO. So the main reason to choose myFICO would be for the 30-day free trial of their Score Watch service, which monitors any changes to your Equifax credit report and FICO score. This is a really fantastic service for anyone that wants to keep track and try to improve their FICO score. Since your FICO score can literally cost or save you thousands of dollars a year, this is a pretty valuable service. If you want to keep the myFICO Score Watch service after the 30-day free trial, you'll be charged $89.95 for an annual subscription (just $7.50 per month). If you decide you don't want to keep it, simply cancel before the 30-day trial is over and you'll have received your FICO score, Equifax credit report and trial of the Score Watch service all for free.
