Credit cards that reward you for using them have become increasingly more common. The rewards can be anything from cash back to points that you use for making cost-free or reduced cost future purchases. Card users are usually "rewarded" for overall transactions, and sometimes receive extra rewards for transactions in specific categories, such as travel, gas and retail purchases.
