The Discover® Student Card is a good fit for college students who want to begin establishing their credit history while earning cash rewards, and are likely to spend over $3,000 with your Discover Student Card within the first few months of each year.

Rewards
  • No limit to how much cash back you can earn.
  • 5% cash back on purchases in rotating categories including; travel, movies, department stores, gas, restaurants and hotels.
  • First $3,000 spent each year earns 0.25% cash back.
  • Once $3,000 annual tier is met, you earn a full 1% cash back on purchases that do not fit into Discover's preset categories.
  • 5% to 20% cash back through Discover's exclusive online shopping website.

Redeem Rewards
  • Rebates are redeemable in $20 increments, which can be issued through an electronic direct deposit to your bank account or a check.
  • Rebates can also increase in value if they are redeemed for gift cards.

Fees and APR
  • No annual fee.
  • 0% Introductory APR: 0% for first 9 months, then purchase APR
  • Purchase APR: 13.99-20.99% (Variable), depending on creditworthiness.
