Where Can I Find the Cheapest
Web Hosting For a Single Year?

Posted by

Q: Looking at your reviews, I see that the cheapest hosting prices are definitely for longer contracts. But which host offers the cheapest single year of hosting? I just want to sign up for one year now.

A: That's a good question! And you're right, you definitely get a discount on web hosting when you sign up for a longer contract. That said, there are some great deals out there right now for shorter contracts. The cheapest single year of hosting available right now is from FatCow for $3.67/mo with a one-year contract (or $3.15/mo for 2 or 3 years) with our exclusive 60% discount.

There are also a few close runners-up, particularly including Network Solutions, which is currently offering our readers web hosting on a month-to-month basis for $3.99/mo. That's absolutely the cheapest price we've seen for a month-to-month contract, and it's a close second even to FatCow's one year plan. Finally, iPage, which is currently offering a really great discount on a three year plan, also has a pretty nicely-priced single year plan at $3.99/mo for 12 months.

All three of these hosts have earned four or five stars in our ratings and offer solid, comprehensive features for beginning and advanced users. You can read more about them in our detailed reviews or compare them side-by-side with our comparison chart.
