Can I Restore Carbonite From a PC to a Mac?

Q: I want to back up my PC using Carbonite but might get a Mac within the year, will it be possible to restore my files from Carbonite onto the Mac?
A: Unfortunately Carbonite users cannot restore files between PCs and Macs. If you want to move your purchased time across platforms (e.g. from a PC to a Mac), you will have to contact customer support. Please be prepared with the last 4 digits of the credit card that you used to purchase Carbonite, the name on the credit card, and the billing address to confirm your identity.
