Does the Chase Slate Card Offer Rewards?

Q: Do you earn points from purchases, gasoline or groceries with the Chase Slate – No Balance Transfer Fee card?
A: The Chase SlateSM - No Balance Transfer Fee credit card is primarily intended for balance transfers, so it doesn't offer points or cash back rewards for purchases. Instead it features a rare no balance transfer fee and a 15-month 0% introductory APR on both purchase and balance transfers. This means you can transfer balances for free from other credit cards you may be paying high finance changes on and save money – literally paying no interest for 15 months.
If you're looking for a Balance Transfer credit card that also let's you earn rewards for purchases, take a look at the Chase Freedom® Visa – $100 Bonus Cash Back + 0% Intro APR. Just like it's (very long) name states, it has a 15-month 0% introductory APR for purchases and balance transfers. Users will also earn 1% unlimited cash back on all purchases, 5% cash back (up to $1,500) within rotating bonus categories and $100 cash back after spending $500 within the first 3 months of receiving the card. The only downside is that unlike the Chase Slate card, the Chase Freedom card does have a balance transfer fee of $5, or 3% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater.
