Can I Cancel PrivacyGuard Credit Monitoring Whenever I Want?
Posted by Tasha Lockyer
Q: Can I cancel PrivacyGuard at any time if I sign up for the monthly monitoring service at $14.95 per month?
A: Yes, you can cancel PrivacyGuard credit reporting monitoring whenever you want, whether it is during or after the trial period. If you cancel during the 30-day $1 trial period you'll only be billed a dollar, and you'll be able to keep all 3 credit scores and the 3-bureau credit report.
We do recommend that you keep PrivacyGuard after signing up, because 3-bureau credit monitoring is a great way of staying on top of any changes to your credit reports. Your credit reports are constantly changing, and the report you get on Monday could be different than what you see on Tuesday. That's because creditors are continually providing information to the 3 credit bureaus, which in turn means your credit reports are updated whenever this new information comes in. 3-bureau monitoring is one of the best ways of staying apprised of any of these updates to your reports, and can also alert you to any fraudulent activity or potential identity theft.
In addition to 3-bureau credit monitoring, PrivacyGuard also provides monthly updates to all 3 of your credit scores and reports and a free subscription to Norton Internet Security Online. These monthly updates exceed anything we've seen from other credit monitoring services we review, and are a great deal for only $14.95 per month.

The customer service is awful, and forget about registering an account over the phone… you have to wait 72 hours before you can view your credit report online. Are you kidding!!
The representatives are not attentive, and are not accurate with data entry. They can't locate your account even within minutes after you enroll, their outdated systems will not allow it. Nor can they view pending accounts.
I suggest go somewhere else.
