Q: Are there any foreign transaction fees on the Citi Simplicity® Card credit card?
A: Yes, the Citi Simplicity® Card card does charge a fee for using the card outside of the U.S. The foreign transaction fee is 3% of the U.S. dollar amount of each purchase. We do love the Citi Simplicity Card because of it's 18 month 0% introductory APR and the fact that it charges no late fees or annual fees, but if you're specifically looking for a card that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees it may not be the best card for you.
If you're in the market for a Low APR credit card with no foreign transaction fees, the Capital One® Platinum Prestige Credit Card is a great choice. It features a 0% introductory APR and balance transfer APR in addition to no annual fee. And if you're a road warrior, you'll appreciate the 24-hour travel assistance that offers an emergency card replacement and a cash advance if your credit card is lost or stolen.
