NextAdvisor Releases 2012 Cash Back Credit Cards Analysis

NextAdvisor has announced the results of its 2012 Cash Back Credit Card Analysis. Our independent analysis researched major cash back credit cards to find out which ones offer average users the greatest cash back rewards. Twelve cards made the final list, and the winner was the Blue Cash EverydaySM from American Express, second was the BankAmericard Cash Rewards™ credit card, and third was taken by Blue Cash PreferredSM from American Express.

How did we do it? We thoroughly researched each cash back credit card's many terms, restrictions, conditions and bonuses. We spent hours reading through the fine print, deducing the rotating quarterly bonus categories and determining how each card calculates cash back rewards for it's users. Then we used this information, together with information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Customer Spending survey to determine the best cards for the average user.
