The following is an actual user-submitted question:
Q: When sign up for Audible.com, I get one audiobook per month? The audio book then will basically cost me $7.49?
A: Yes, when you sign up for Audible.com the first three months will cost you only $7.49. With this membership plan you will get one credit each month for downloading an audiobook. Most titles only cost one credit, with a few longer titles costing an additional credit. So, basically this means getting three audibooks for only $7.49. This also includes a daily audio subscription to the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal. After three months, the cost goes up to $14.99 per month, still cheaper than individual downloads.

I pay 7.49 a month.
After three months it automatically goes to 15.
For this fifteeen dollars, I receive:
one credit which can buy a book (most books)
one book for @15 regardless of its coverprice
Is this right? Or each month *after* I buy another book, I receive a credit to be abl to receive a second book.
The $15 is paid each month regardless of what I do. If I am inactive for, say, three months, I hacen't accrued any credits or anything else.
The lead time to leave the program is zero.
Am I right? This is the first tiem I've done sth like this.

Thanks for your question, Beth! When you join Audible, you automatically receive one credit per month, including the three months for which you pay only $7.49. Most books cost one credit, though some longer titles cost two credits. After you have used your monthly credit, you can purchase more audiobooks that month if you like. As a member, you will receive a 30% discount off of the Audible list price. If you do not use your credit in a given month, it will roll over to the next month, allowing you to accumulate credits in your account. With the basic plan, you can have as many as 6 credits in your account at any given time, so you can allow credits to roll over until you have 6, at which point you will lose your credit for the month if you do not use up one of the credits you have banked.
Hope this helps!
