The answer that you can get your reports more if you have a paid service like monitoring is true, but those are all ripoffs since they don&#039;t actually do anything to protect your credit.

Bottom line: get a credit freeze which locks your credit reports. Once done, any check of your credit requires your express approval each time.</description>
