    I purchased a McAfee Internet Security Suite(2-year subscription)on Dec. 18, 2007.
Several days ago, McAfee update was large and included many items, such as the firewall and virus scan, personal item security, etc.
Since that day my Mcafee security system hasn't worked properly. If the program is not fully open, the firewall is shut down and the program is telling me I need to reinstall virus scan.
I contacted McAfee support immediately. Their Virtual Tech couldn't find a McAffe program on my computer, so I tried to do Chat & Email support.
I have used the Real time Chat before, but this time, the screen couldn't load due to problems.
I received an email that my onsite communication and description of the problem had been received, telling me I could reply to the email.
I have replied four times now without a response.

I have never had large problems with McAfee and liked the company until now.
McAfee has attempted several times in the past few months to get me to buy something, but my system "was" great and I have nearly a year left on my virus subscription.
It seems to me, McAfee wants me to buy again what I have already paid for … their download is what has cripple my McAfee system and McAfee isn't talking to me about what is going on.
I need to take my computer into an area where I can get a faster connection in order to download the entire program from my account again … seems an unnecessary pain for a good customer.

What I have learned is never to buy a program from a net download when a disk is not furnished also.
If McAfee, at some point, doesn't contact me, I will never buy another thing from McAfee.

I took my computer to a friend and hooked up to a faster net service. Downloaded the entire McAfee program from my online McAfee account and everything is working great again. Thanks McAfee!
