Mac users need Internet security software, too

Generally, consumers have used Mac computers without fear of the malware attacks that plague Windows users. Over recent months, however, there has been an increase in new viruses that can infiltrate Mac systems, as well as web-based malware that can attack any computer, regardless of operating system.
Apple is now recommending that Mac users protect their systems with Internet security software, and suggests Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus and McAfee as good options.
