HP announced today that it is discontinuing their HP Upline product. Current users will be refunded their subscription price and have until March 31st to retrive their files.

Hi John,
Thanks for the note. We never included HP Upline in our comparison of online backup services because of the various issues that plagued that service from the get go. We'd suggest that HP Upline customers consider a service like Carbonite or Mozy as a replacement. The worst thing that an HP Upline customer could do is stop backing their data up with another service since that puts all of their important files at risk.
