The identities of about 20,000 Kraft Foods employees have been exposed after a laptop containing their names and other personal data, possibly including social security numbers, was stolen.
Kraft began distributing letters to the impacted employees this week notifying them of the data breach. The company will be providing affected employees with two years worth of credit report monitoring service in order to help mitigate any potential identity theft risk.
