Data Breach Alert: Torrance Unified School District

A hard drive containing personal information, including social security numbers, of about 2,200 employees of the Torrance Unified School District in Fullerton, CA was stolen. The information was being stored in the offices of Systematic Automation, a company that administers health benefits for the school district.
This is the second such data breach reported involving Systematic Automation in the month of February.
