WalletLock takes the worry out of losing your wallet

LifeLock, the highest overall rated identity theft prevention service based off of our recent reviews, just announced the launch of their new WalletLock services which helps their customers recover from the loss of important cards and documents quickly.

According to LifeLock:

If clients’ wallets are lost or stolen, they call into 1-877-LifeLock and LifeLock will assist them with replacing all the document items in their wallet with the exception of the cash, monies or pictures in the wallet. Replacement documents include:

• Credit/debit cards
• ATM Cards
• Driver’s License
• Social Security
• Insurance Cards (Health, Auto, etc)
• Professional License
• Passport
• VISA
• Immigration documents
• Diplomas or Certificates
• Owner’s Checkbook
• Traveler’s check

The WalletLock service saves time,  but it will also likely help limit the overall threat of identity theft after a purse or wallet has been lost or stolen.  38% of all identity crimes in the United States stem from a lost or stolen wallet, checkbook or credit card according to a recent Javelin Strategy & Research survey.
