VoIP comes to the iPhone

An enterprising group of developers that recently brought VoIP service to the iPod Touch has turned their attention to the iPhone.

The goal is to allow iPhone owners to make VoIP phone calls through the device's built-in wi-fi connection. It is exciting to see continued development and innovation in the voice over IP space but it should be noted that this iPhone modification is most certainly in violation of Apple and AT&T's terms of service for iPhone users.
